Marshawn Lynch is officially an Oakland Raider now.
Wednesday morning the Seattle Seahawks and the Raiders came to a trade deal for the running back to come out of retirement and to play for his hometown team. For the trade to be sealed Lynch had to pass a physical which he did Wednesday morning.
Oakland traded late draft picks in the 2018 draft. Oakland traded their fifth-round pick along with Seahawks’ sixth-round pick.
Lynch expressed his excitement on Twitter.
Lynch signed a two-year deal with a base of $9 million and the max value of $16.5 million, reported by NFL Network Insider Ian Rapport.
I’m pretty sure Derek Carr is excited to have an explosive back like beast mode in his back field. The Raiders will most definitely be a real Super Bowl contender for the 2018 season.
