Massachusetts State Police have arrested and charged the man who pulled the fire alarm in the Pittsburgh Steelers’ hotel early Sunday morning.
The Steelers don’t play the New England Patriots until 6:45 p.m. ET but the got an early wake up call Sunday morning.
Dennis Harrison, 25, of East Boston has been charged with disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace and pull a false fire alarm at the Steelers’ airport hotel in Boston, according to a statement from state police.
Police said Harrsion pulled the alarm and then fled the scene. He was later found by state police on walking around the property. Police said Harrison was not a guest nor did he have an legitimate reason to even be at the hotel.
Harrison is being held, pending bond.
The hotel was evacuated and even though most of the Steelers’ players where awaken by the alarm they did not have to evacuate.
As well as at the Steelers’ hotel the fire alarm at Gillette Stadium went off. The Foxboro fire department arrive and shortly after people were allowed back into the stadium.
I guess fans can look forward to a fiery game.
