Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson has suffered from a torn meniscus in his right knee during Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers.
Right now head coach Mike Zimmer has not released a timetable on Peterson’s return nor has he rule Peterson out for this week and said the team is looking at several options.
Peterson left the game with 3:32 left in the third quarter are slightly twisting his knee after a 5-yard run. His foot was stuck under the leg of Kyler Fackrell as Packer’s linebacker tackled him.
After being taking to the locker room Peterson was quickly ruled out. Later that night he was seen on crutches with a large black brace around his knee.
Peterson has had a not so successful start to the season and this doesn’t make things any better.
Now the real question is, if Peterson is out who is in?
