Yes I will be corny and reference the Sherlock Holmes book to say good bye to possible hall-of-fame safety Charles Woodson. The only player in NFL history to have at least 50 interceptions and 20 sacks. Woodson has played his last game. He is one of the best to ever do it and No. 24 will one day fly high in O.co Coliseum.
During his 18 season long career Woodson mandaged to play 254 games and he is credited for 983 tackles and 65 interceptions. He has taken it to the house 13 different times. He also won a Super Bowl during his seven season time with the Green Bay Packers.Woodson was the No. 4 draft pick in 1998.
The Heisman Trophy winner has a number of accolades that I can list off like his nine pro bowl trips. He will sure be missed from the game and most definitely from the Oakland a Raiders where he played 11 of his 18 seasons.
Good bye Mr.Charles Woodson. His career as a player is now over, maybe coach or a seat on the television screen is in his near future.
