The New York Giants are showing some faith in first round draft pick Ereck Flowers. Signing him to a multi-year contract Thursday worth about $13 million over 4 years. Flower the ninth overall pick out of the 2015 draft has some brains along with his football skills. He negotiated his entire contract on his own without the help of an agent.
At the beginning of spring Flowers was working as a right tackle but since things have changed. Starter left tackle Will Beatty tore a pectoral muscle on May 18 and will be out five to six months, causing him to miss the first half of the season. This leaves Flowers to protect Eli Manning’s blind side.
Excited to see how the rookie will pan out.
