Former offensive lineman for the Detroit Lions Rodney Austin can be facing up to 60 days in a North Carolina jail. Tuesday afternoon Austin was found guilty on four different charges – assault on a female; assault on a child under 12; misdemeanor larceny; and interfering with emergency communication. He is being found guilty on all 4 charges. This is occurring from an incident on April 5 and Austin was arrested on April 17.
The lions released Austin on April 21 after learning of the assault. The lions signed Austin as an undrafted free agent out of Elon in 2012.
Do you think that 60 days is enough for the four charges he was found guilty on?
