Why not fight if innocent?

Robert Kraft will not appeal the Patriots punishment for the deflated footballs. New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft says, “Although I might disagree what is decided, I do have respect for [commissioner Roger Goodell] and believe that he’s doing what he perceives to be in the best interests of [all 32 teams].” The Pats were fined $1 million and docked two draft picks. My argument is that Kraft knows those balls where deflated on purpose. If he feels that his team is so innocent then why not appeal if you don’t agree with what is being done. If I was Kraft or even Tom Brady and I knew I didn’t do anything wrong and I had evidence to prove so I would have put it out a long time ago. What is the wait for? I think they are stalling to come up with something. I’m not going to pay one penny if I know my team and I are innocent, so I wonder why Kraft is paying the $1 million? I want answers and I want them fast.

  1. It’s not worth the fight. The fine is a small drop in the bucket and the draft picks would be nobody’s. And the four games are at the beginning plenty of time to recover.
