The NFL Golden Boy is not so golden. The report, prepared by attorney Ted Wells, found that “it is more probable than not” that Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was “at least generally aware of the inappropriate activities” of locker room attendant Jim McNally and equipment assistant John Jastremski, who has been with the team since 2001. Text messages between McNally and Jastremski with talk of cash, free shoes and autographs in exchange to deflate the balls. McNally is responsible for deflating the 12 footballs before the AFC title game spending 100 seconds in the bathroom after officials had already approved the game balls.
If this all comes out to be true I feel that the Pats should be ripped of the championship. This is not acceptable. This is not the first time that the Pats have been accused of cheating. The team as a whole needs to be fined and so does Tom Brady. This should not be taken lightly, because this isn’t their first time of being accused of cheating.
I wonder why they think that they are above the law and can get away with whatever they want. Do they not have faith in their team? I meant Tom Brady whether he cheats or not is a top-ranked Quarterback. Does he not have faith in himself to win a game fairly?
The investigation is still going on and I will keep updated. The text messages are proven to be true. What do you think? Leave a comment below.
